Charles shares more from the Lord’s Prayer and reminds us that you can’t do the one without the other.

Clive brings to us our second talk in our series on the Lord’s prayer. That we need to be praying for God’s kingdom to come and God’s will to be done on earth as in Heaven. He reminds us that we need to focus on the kingdom, we need to live in the kingdom and we need to accept the Kingdom. 

The first of four talks on the prayer that Jesus taught us, on the theme of Coming Into the Presence of God. Nick talks on Matthew 6.9 “This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,” Overcoming the difficulty of prayer, establishing the right basis for prayer – that we pray to our Father God as our Father ONLY through Jesus and focussing on the essence of prayer.

Hannah Giddens encourages us that everything we are, everything we think and everything we do, is in response to who God is, and challenges us to spend more time with Jesus, walk with Him and as we become more and more like Jesus, people will be begin to see Jesus in us and ask us about Him. We need to have a heavenly perspective on life so that we can say that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens usH and who has all that we need.

Referring to David’s prayer in 1 Chronicles 29, verses 10-20, Amanda reminds us how everything we have is a gift from God, and challenges us, do we believe that? If so, we should respond by worshipping Him and celebrating His goodness and faithfulness to us.
