Children & Families

Come on in and make yourselves at home: put your feet on the chairs, your snacks on the floor and run around with a superhero costume on. You won’t be the only ones…

We are passionate about seeing children come to know Jesus as a friend and love being a part of the journey they make with Him. We love to hear children playing and joining in during the main meeting on Sunday. To help them get the most out of their time at church, Reception age to Year 6 are invited to go out to their own groups midway through the service. These groups take place in the school building next to the church. They’re a chance to play games, make friends and take part in interactive Bible teaching. We aim to create a fun and friendly space where the children can encounter God as well as get to know each other better.

Pre-schoolers are welcome to join us in the children’s building, however we ask that a parent or carer comes with them to supervise. We also have an area at the back of the church where they can play and relax if you would prefer to stay in the main service.

What to expect

Stay & Play

The Stay & Play group for babies and toddlers is run with our friends from All Saints Church. Come along every Wednesday during term time from 1pm until 3pm. It’s £1 if you have one child or £1.50 for a family with more than one child. There’s plenty of tea, coffee, cake and grown-up chat for parents and carers. And there are toys, games and stories for the children. We can’t wait to start meeting again!

We know that the current circumstances can be confusing and disorientating for everyone, especially children. With this in mind we run two regular activities in order to help you create routine and stability at home.

Zoom gatherings
These happen every other Thursday at 4pm for 30minutes. Our aim is to check in with the children as well as having a chance to explore a Bible story and what it might mean to us today.

YouTube Videos

These are short, 10minute videos, uploaded every other Wednesday (the weeks that we aren’t meeting on Zoom) and look at how we can show The Fruits of The Spirit in our everyday lives.

Schools work

We work with King Charles and St Francis Primary Schools in Falmouth, supporting work around worship and prayer. We love to see children flourish as they engage with God and discover new ways of praying and worshipping. Our vision is for our schools work to grow so that we are involved in all the schools in Falmouth in the future.
