Our Rural Dean, Geoff Bennett, explains that in the letter to the Philippians Paul was refreshingly honest about his faith.  Paul knew that he was not perfect and he longed to experience more of the resurrection power of the Spirit in his life transforming him to be more like Jesus. As Paul puts it in Philippians 3.13b-14 ‘But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.’
