Jesus is Wonderful

New Street is a church that exists first for God, and from that foundation, for the sake of others. Therefore first of all we begin with God. A vision of Jesus. The above passage recalls a group of people overhwlemed with wonder and running to meet Jesus. What was it that was so ‘wonderful’ about Jesus that they were overhwelmed to the point of running to meet him. What is what he did? What he taught? How he saved people? What about a glimpse of eternity. The aim behind this series is to re-awaken wonder at who Jesus is.

This then shapes everything we do. Our lives are shaped by who Jesus is—who he was, who he is, and who he is to come. By what he is like, what he said, what he did, and the way he calls us to live.

In this new series, we will unpack how even a glimpse of Jesus transforms the way we live as his followers—how his teaching shapes us, how he came to save us, and how an eternal vision of Jesus reshapes the way we live our lives now.
