Encounters with Jesus

In this new series, Encounters with Jesus, we’ll be exploring some of the most powerful and personal moments in the Gospel of John where lives are transformed through meeting Jesus. Each week, we’ll look at a different encounter and reflect on what it reveals about who Jesus is and what it means for us today.
We hope these talks will encourage and challenge you as we see what happens when ordinary people come face-to-face with Jesus.

Hope for the spiritually thirsty

Charles talks through the story of the Samaritan women at the well in John chapter 4, a remarkable encounter, Jesus offers living water to a woman whose life is marked by rejection and longing. What does it mean to be truly known, deeply loved, and spiritually renewed? Hear and explore the hope He offers to all who are spiritually thirsty.

Generosity at a wedding

Using the story John tells in chapter 2 of how Jesus turned water into wine, Charles reminds us that God wants to be present in our lives and wants to transform us, our homes, our lives, our world into happy places.
