Children & Families

Come on in and make yourselves at home: put your feet on the chairs, your snacks on the floor and run around with a superhero costume on. You won’t be the only ones…

We are passionate about seeing children come to know Jesus as a friend and love being a part of the journey they make with Him. We love to hear children playing and joining in during the main meeting on Sunday. To help them get the most out of their time at church, Reception age to Year 6 are invited to go out to their own groups midway through the service. These groups take place in the school building next to the church. They’re a chance to play games, make friends and take part in interactive Bible teaching. We aim to create a fun and friendly space where the children can encounter God as well as get to know each other better.

Pre-schoolers are welcome to join us in the children’s building, however we ask that a parent or carer comes with them to supervise. We also have an area at the back of the church where they can play and relax if you would prefer to stay in the main service.

At the moment our youth stay in for the whole service and we love having them with us. As our younger ones grow and as older ones join, we hope to have some specific youth provision. If you’re keen to find out more or pitch in to help, get in touch.

There’ll be toys for toddlers, themed activities for kids, and drinks and cakes for grown-ups too.Older siblings are welcome (though activities are aimed at 2–10s), and babies/toddlers will have their own space to play with support from a parent. Spaces are limited, so please book early! Bookings close at 12 noon the day before to help us prepare. Sessions include faith-based stories, songs, and themes – just like our regular term-time Little Sparks.

Schools work

We work with a number of schools in Falmouth, supporting work around worship and prayer. We love to see children flourish as they engage with God and discover new ways of praying and worshipping. Our vision is for our schools work to grow so that we are involved in all the schools in Falmouth in the future.
