Jesus is our ultimate rabbi and his teaching revealed something of the kingdom of God. Jesus’ teaching shows us a way to live, a truth to live by and a way in which we can experience life in its fullness. His teaching has just as much significance now as it did when he first taught.  Ref: Matthew 5:1 

We see throughout the gospels where Jesus restores. He restores people back into community (Matthew the tax collector, those with leprosy, the sinful women) We see a glimpse of Jesus who seeks to restore those that are broken, outcast and hurting and longs to do the same through his church.
